Hi,
I need some feedback on my profile and chances of making it into the colleges of my choice. so here goes
Basic demographic info: Male, 25, Korean
Work Experience: 2.1 years at Government Accounting department at City hall (Korea)
GMAT Score: 720, Q:49 V:39
Academics: 3.96 GPA Double Major in Business and Economics(Stony Brook University (SUNY))
Leadership roles: Experience as President of Conversational Club during undergrad.
Achievements: Dean’s list and Scholarship during undergrad.
Extra Curricular: President of Conversational Club during undergrad.
IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
Bilingual English/ Korean
I eventually hope to pursue a career in Invest Banking and Private Equity.
Target Colleges: DUKE Fuqua, NYU Stern, UT, Michigan
Especially I really want to go to Duke Fuqua.
How realistic are my chances for these schools?
I would really appreciate feedback.

Your City Hall work sounds a little unusual, which helps you, as do your strong numbers (GMAT, grades). I didn't get a clear idea about your leadership at work. It sounds like your extracurricular involvement since university is weak, so if you lack leadership at work, the lack of leadership outside of work will hurt you. To be competitive at Fuqua, NYU Stern, and Michigan, you need to address that leadership question. Since you're still young, you could easily wait and apply next fall with a stronger profile that could really help your odds. UT is the most doable school on your list, followed by Duke. Stern and Michigan are longer shots.
I've had very good luck with Korean applicants this past season (LBS, CBS, Tuck, Chicago, etc.), so I'd be glad to help you when you're ready to go.
