Give it some more thought and try to make your career goals more convincing when you apply. Of course, you're not obligated to actually follow that career path once you get to school, but it helps to be as clear about your post-MAB goals as possible.

Beyond that, I do think you can be competitive at a top-ten school. They all attract top-tier management consulting firms. I recommend applying to 5-6 schools (across both rounds) to spread your bets.
