Alex, I'd appreciate your opinion on my profile. I'm looking to matriculate in Fall of 2012.
BasicsMale/25 (27 at Matriculation)/American
Graduated with Honors from top 5 engineering university in 2008
Major: Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
GPA: 3.23/4.0

Work ExperienceUpon graduation I took a job at a large independent refining company. I spent 1.5 yrs as a plant engineer before being promoted to a business analyst position at corporate headquarters in January 2010. In my current role, I work directly for a VP doing various business development and strategic analysis projects. I will move out of my analyst role into a different commercial role in the company this fall.
Extra-CurricularsI believe strongly in education's place as the great equalizer for American society and my volunteer work has been centered around helping people from difficult backgrounds acheive academic success.
While an engineer:
-Head tutor in local library's "homework help" program
-Designed and Taught a six week ACT prep class for local high school students
In current role:
-Work in local library's college prep program doing SAT and ACT tutoring (different library from previous)
-GED tutoring at a local women's shelter
I also write short stories, several of which have been published in various literary/genre magazines.
Post MBA GoalsI'd like to work in strategy consulting (M/B/B if I can).
