Can you please tell me what schools might be an achievable target for me...given below is a brief outline of my profile:
GMAT: 720 (87 percentile on Verbal and likewise on Quant)
Age: 25 years; Nationality: Indian
Education:
July 2002 - May 05 : Pursued BA in Economics and Maths (58.8% - College topper in second year) - India
June 2005 - April 07 : Post Graduate Diploma in Management - CGPA - 4.18 (Top 10% of Batch - Specialization in Human Resources and Marketing) - India
Work Experience:
May 2007 - Dec 08- Assistant Manager (Generalist HR profile - had indirect supervision over 300 employees)
Jan 09 - Feb 2010: Unemployed as relocated to USA. Worked as a volunteer at an adult day care center for about 5 months.
March 2010 - Contd - Administrative Assistant To Global Director, Engineering John Deere
Extracurriculars:
2002 -03 : Class representative
2004 - 05 : Course President
2005 - 07: Member of Alumni Team and Corporate communications team
Future Plans: I am interested in pursuing consultancy in HR - as an organizational development or change management specialist.
I would really appreciate if you can shed some light on the way forward in my MBA journey, and help me better target B-schools. Thanks for your time.

Your GMAT is excellent and competitive. I am somewhat concerned about your grade percentage. 58% is a little low for a top MBA program. Your PGDM is good,especially if it is from a rigorous program.
I am also concerned about your work experience is the US. Being the admin asst to the director of a global company could give you a great vantage point and experience, but it also could mean that you are a glorified clerk. It will be your job to show that the experience is valuable. It may also be wise to move into a role where you have responsibility.
I am not that knowledgeable about programs with HR specialities. I do know that [url=ww.accepted.com/mba/michiganross.aspx]Ross[/url]is strong in this area.
