Hey everyone,
If I could get a profile evaluation I would greatly appreciate it- Targeting UT-Austin with some stretch schools (aspirations of Stanford but I know it's a reach)
GMAT: I got a 670 on my GMAT- Probably will retake it
Undergrad: Top 30-40, good business school with a 3.4 GPA in Finance
Work: Financial analyst at a top CPG company (Fortune 50). Worked in Pricing strategy during inflationary period and switched jobs to risk analyst during crazy bankruptcy period.
Extra Curricular:
President and Pledge Trainer of 100+ member fraternity in College
Created Financial Analyst training program at company (from scratch)
Head of Undergraduate recruiting for my company at my alma mater
Lots of leadership positions within company (Young Professional Association career development chair)
Lots of random community service
Currently developing some iPhone App's
Stock and option trader (successful at it)
Trying for a career switch into some sort of Banking/PE. I was thinking I have a decent chance at a good MBA because of some schools having to round out their classes and would need some CPG guys. Thoughts? Debating whether to try one more job rotation (hopefully in Strategy/M&A) or just go ahead and go to MBA. Thanks!
