Linda,

Thanks for the reply.

I have worked outside India, in a neighboring country called Bangladesh , for a fortune-500 MNC client , for almost 1.5 years out of the total 3. My major experience in project management role as well in Strategy and Operations consultancy has come from that project .Will that count ?

I am particularly targetting a MBA to shift domain from Consultancy and move in2 Finance , preferably Private Equity or Investment Banking

I dont know whether this counts as an extra-carricular. Most of my free time since Class X , I have spent working with a former teacher in providing free tution classes to underprivileged children.Since this is done entirely in personal capacity and not as part of any registered NGO/non-profit organization, I would not be able to substantiate this apart from words from my teacher and my pupils.
This is something very close to my heart.

Thanks ,
Indradeep
You can certainly write about your work in providing tuition to under-privileged chidren.

Regarding your target programs: - Booth,INSEAD,Stern,Haas

Dream - Harvard,LBS,Wharton

Harvard and Wharton are stretch programs. LBS is probably a little more realistic as are Booth, INSEAD, Stern, and Haas, where you have a competitive profile. There are no safety schools on your list.

Best,
Linda

Linda ,

Thanks a lot again for your reply.

I was thinking of Rotman and Queens,Canada as the other safer options.Am I over-estimating ?

Would these be a good fit or should I look lower ?

Thanks,

Indradeep

Those are good options where your chances of acceptance are better than at the programs discussed earlier.

Best,
Linda
