Hi, I have been working in the financial sector since past 8 years in the Internal Audit team. Approx. 4 years of global experience. Have travelled across US, UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, HK, Korea, Dubai. India, Cayman Island, etc. for work.

I have done ACA. Decent Academic reorcd.

Keen to change my profile to consulting/ debt capital markets. Passionate about studying further.

Although, my growth has been fairly staedy in career, I have not shared very warm relationship with the employers. Will it affect my MBA prospects?

My target schoold is LBS/ equivalent, which provides MBA for 1 year (approx.)

It's not uncommon for applicants to not reveal to their employer that they're applying to b-school - don't worry about it. Just state it in 1-2 sentences in the optional essay to explain why you're not getting a rec letter from a current boss.

Could you please provide inputs on my chances of getting into a very reputed B-School say LBS or any other within top 10 for approx. one year MBA?

If you're looking for a one-year program, you realize that LBS is a two-year program, right?

Rather than me tell you what to do, I really suggest you do some research. There's only so many top schools out there. Figure out which specific ones you'd love to go to, go through their websites, go through the discussion forums like these - and you'll be that much more informed.
