My answer is (E). It took me 01:36.

(A) the placement of "most of whom are children" is not ideal. Readers can easily figure out that "whom" refers to "people" without much difficulty. Still, maybe there is a better option. KEEP for now.

(B) Panacea cannot bar lawyers for creditor firms from accessing the company’s finances.

(C) Panacea cannot bar lawyers for creditor firms from accessing the company’s finances.

(D) "across the length and breadth of the country" is misplaced. In addition, "in people and children" is nonsensical.

(E) No issues found. Compare with (A). (E) is better.

A judge overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings of Panacea, the maker of drugs used to treat epilepsy in people across the length and breadth of the country, most of whom are children, has barred lawyers for creditor firms to access the company’s finances, a move that has been widely criticized as unfair and biased.

A) A judge overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings of Panacea, the maker of drugs used to treat epilepsy in people across the length and breadth of the country, most of whom are children, has barred lawyers for creditor firms to access the company’s finances, a move that has been widely criticized as unfair and biased.
The maker is used to treat epilepsy? No. This is nonsensical.

B) Panacea, the maker of drugs used to treat epilepsy in people, mostly children, across the length and breadth of the country, has barred lawyers for creditor firms from accessing the company’s finances by a judge overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings, a move that has been widely criticized as unfair and biased.
Panacea can't bar lawyers for creditor firms... (this is what a judge does) out.

C) The maker of drugs used to treat epilepsy in people, mostly children, across the length and breadth of the country, Panacea, using a judge overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings, has barred lawyers for creditor firms to access the company’s finances, which has been widely criticized as unfair and biased.
The maker of drugs can't bar lawyers.. same reasoning as B.

D) In a move that has been widely criticized as unfair and biased across the length and breadth of the country, a judge overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings of Panacea, the maker of drugs used to mostly treat epilepsy in people and children, has barred lawyers for creditor firms from accessing the company’s finances.
A judge is not a move.... Out.

E) A judge overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings of Panacea, the maker of drugs used to treat epilepsy in people, mostly children, across the length and breadth of the country, has barred lawyers for creditor firms from accessing the company’s finances, a move that has been widely criticized as unfair and biased.
Nothing seems wrong with this choice.

--> multiple mistakes
1. Treat epilepsy in people across the length and breadth of the country -- wrong meaning it's not being treated in people across the length and breadth
2. To access should be from accessing.

--> has barred refers back to Panacea which is wrong. Out

--> panacea ,using a judge overseeing ,this is not correct as it changes the meaning

--> In a move that has been widely criticized as unfair and biased across the length and breadth of the country -- this entire move is being referred to a judge which is wrong.

E) A judge overseeing the bankruptcy proceedings of Panacea, the maker of drugs used to treat epilepsy in people, mostly children, across the length and breadth of the country, has barred lawyers for creditor firms from accessing the company’s finances, a move that has been widely criticized as unfair and biased --> correct no issues

-> We need "most of whom are children" close to "people". Incorrect.

-> "Panacea has barred lawyers for..." Incorrect. Actually, a judge did it.

-> Mostly children are not makers of drugs. It is incorrect.

-> Is the move widely criticized as unfair and biased across the length and breadth of the country, or the treatment is done across the length and breadth of the country. Meaning changed. Incorrect.

-> It is better. "Mostly children treat across the length and breadth of the country" and "Judge has barred lawyers...."

So, I think E. :)
