looking for the meaning of the sentence;
hunger is primarily a problem of general poverty, and thus overall economic growth and its distributional pattern can solve the hunger problem but not be importent to slve the hunger problem. As youcan see, this sentence doesnt make sense.
it should be like overall economic growth and its distributional pattern cannot solve the hunger problem but can be importent to solve it
between c and e
option c; cannot be but importent in solving
in this option, the placement of be makes it an illogical construction. when this option is placed in the underlined portion, it will be like " Hunger is primarily a problem of general poverty, and thus overall economic growth and its distributional pattern cannot be solving hunger problem but importent in solving hunger problem". Doesn't make sense
in option e, be is correctly placed, making the meaning clear.
