A judge in Hollywood, California recently issued a cease and desist order to an advertising firm after a famous actor sued the firm for using a celebrity imposter to imitate the famous actor in a television commercial. The court order prohibits the agency from using any celebrity imitators in future commercials. This will certainly come as a blow to the advertising agency: their costs will rise since it is expensive to hire the services of legitimate celebrities instead of using celebrity imposters.

The conclusion above is based on which of the following assumptions?

(A) Most people are able to tell the difference between a real celebrity on television and a celebrity imposter.

(B) Television ads that use real celebrities are more effective than ads that use celebrity imposters.

(C) Many famous actors are not willing to film television commercials.

(D) Other advertising firms have been known to use celebrity imposters as well.

(E) The advertising agency will now shoot commercials using legitimate celebrities instead of filming without celebrities entirely.

E it is - The costs will rise means that the agencies will now hire legitimate celebrities.

Answer is E. The ONLY way agency's costs can go high is that is still continues shooting ads USING REAL celebrities. From the other answers it's not evident why the agency's costs should go high.

Conclusion:This will certainly come as a blow to the advertising agency: their costs will rise since it is expensive to hire the services of legitimate celebrities instead of using celebrity imposters.

Pre-thinking: Argument relies on the assumption that Ad agency will certainly use a celebrity and will not make ad without one.
E is the exact answer.

Why not A???
If most people are still not able to tell the difference, then it should not come as a blow to adv agency. So, the conclusion would fall apart.
Please guide.
