Was also confused between b and c, but I believe C is the answer.

B Some common drugs are derived from plants and other natural substances. is not the right ans because the question talks about prescribed drugs not all drugs. may be the drugs mentioned in B are not prescribed.
Option C directly weakens the link i.e. safety from herbs and oils -> Ciara's preference and hence is the correct answer.
