Easy one,
the correct answer would be C - drawing an analogy between a natural system and a mechanical device (i.e. a watch, and citing an example whereby if you open the back of your watch, close your eyes, and poke a pencil into the exposed works, the almost certain result would be damage to the watch).
Similarly, any major technologically changes in a natural system are likely to be detrimental!

The reason why C is wrong is: "projecting the effects of change in a natural system from observation of a representative case"
It is clear that the example given is not a representative case.
