A) If anything, this weakens the students position. Customers may avoid the bakery if they dislike croissants, and the business as a whole will suffer. Out.
B) This is something that is reasonable, however it does not strengthen the students position or weaken the bakers. Out.
C) If anything, this weakens the students argument. Out.
D) Great choice. If customers enter the store and purchase other things, then the bakers position that they need to sell other products too is fulfilled, weakning the Baker's argument that they will only buy croissants.
E) Resonable, but out of scope.
D is the answer.

Baker Objection is the deal " sign offering a special deal of 12 croissants for only $3" will helps to sell only more croissants and not his other products which he wants to sell.
A. If that is the case, than the customers who wants to purchase only croissants will enter into the store. Customer who purchase other items will not enter the store and thus will not help in any way to increase the sale of other products. "Strengthen the Objection of Baker".
B. Yes, the statement is true but we are only concerned about sale of other products, and not about the change in price of flour.
C. If lowering of prices will create a negative impact on consumers , than customer inflow to the bakery will be reduced leading to reduced sale of products.
D. Correct. "If more customer will be attracted by seeing a discount sign outside the store than they may purchase other items which are not on discount and the sale of products other than the discount will be increased. This clearly weakens the Baker's objection that the sale of other products will not increase by this offer.
E. Yes, this statement is true but we are only concerned about sale of other products, and not about the cullinary skills and business knowledge of the successfull baker.
