What is the source of this question? As the others have pointed out, it's poorly-written and not a match for proper GMAT 'style.' You would be better served avoiding questionable study materials and focusing on reputable content and sources.

I have framed this question myself. I am sorry for the poor construction of this question.
My idea was to make sure that people understood the basics well.

As in many reputed book it is only mentions : LCM x HCF = Product of Two numbers
But overlook the fact that HCF must be a factor of LCM. Which is not in this case. So the answer for this question will be Data inadequate

I apologize for poor construction once again chetan2u. As i said earlier my intention was to share this concept as ppl remember well when they commit a mistake.
