Hi All,
These types of questions are essentially just about doing the necessary arithmetic. You CAN save some time though, depending on how you CHOOSE to do the math.
The question tells us that 28 out of 200 citizens support a bill. We're asked for the percent of those 200 that do NOT support it. At this point, you can either calculate what you want OR you can calculate what you DON'T want and subtract that from 100%.
Consider 28/200...
28/200 = 14/100 = 14% who DO support the bill. This means...
100% - 14% = 86% DO NOT support the bill.
