First we have to find out the value of n.
Given, average (arithmetic mean) of n and 11 is equal to 2n
Or, \(\frac{n+11}{2}=2n\)
Or, n+11=4n
Or, 3n=11
Or, \(n=\frac{11}{3}\)
Average of n and \(\frac{13}{3}\)=Average of \(\frac{11}{3}\) and \(\frac{13}{3}\)=\(\frac{\frac{11}{3}+\frac{13}{3}}{2}\)=\(\frac{8}{2}=4\)

From what is given :
(n+11)/2 = 2n
n = 11/3
Average of n and 13/3:
(11/3 + 13/3)/2 = 8/2 = 4
IMO A.
