Hi,
Can you explain how you calculated the median?
My solution was this:
Let's assume that there are a total of 100 students
No. Of 70's = 10
No. Of 80's = 35
No. Of 90's = 30
No. Of 100's = 25
So when arranged in ascending order, the 50th and 51st students both scored 90 which means the median is 90
Mean can be calculated as [(10*70)+(35*80)+(30*90)+(25*100)]/100
Mean = 87
Therefore the difference between mean and median is 90-87 = 3
