    • 4(r–s)=–2

To find
    • Value of r in terms of s

Approach and Working out
    • 4(r–s)=–2
    • r-s = -2/4 = -1/2
    • r= s -1/2

Thus, option B is the correct answer.

(A) \(\frac{-8}{2}\)

(B) \(s - \frac{1}{2}\)

(C) \(s - \frac{3}{2}\)

(D) \(s + 2\)

(E) \(2s\)
\(4(r – s) = –2\)

Or, \((r – s) = –\frac{1}{2}\)

Or, \(r = s –\frac{1}{2}\) , Answer must (B)

Given that 4(r – s) = –2 and we need to find what is r, in terms of s

4(r – s) = –2

=> r - s = \(\frac{-2}{4}\) = \(\frac{-1}{2}\)

=> r = s - \(\frac{1}{2}\)

So, Answer will be B
