MathRevolution, why is the sum of the values 51? The question says of the total number of automobiles sold to institutions. Wouldnt that mean we only consider the numbers for US and foreign institutions?

Hi Kmatz, I agree with your point.

Infact considering the same, we will arrive at the numbers => 9.4/22.8 ~ 41%

I think it is a coincidence that Institutions and Overall yields the same answer.

Hello,

Yes, guys. Completely agreed. That is an unfortunate miss at my end.

Thanks for finding it out and supporting to edit.

Add (approximately), all those models that were sold to institution: 3.6 + 8.5 + 1.9 + 1.7 + 4.9 + 2.2) = (4 + 9 + 2 + 2 + 5 + 2 = 24 )

Add (approximately), all those models that were sold to institution but aren't standard: (3.6 + 1.9 + 1.7 + 2.2) = (4 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 10) - We can remove 14 out of 24 simply.

Percent: \(\frac{ 10 }{ 24}\) * 100 = 41%
