DP4865421 those are the arc angles. Imagine if the circle had a center, then draw the radii towards the 3 points of the triangle. We would create an angle of 100 and 140 and additionally, 100 and 140 are telling us the arc "x" is pointing to is 360 - 100 - 140 = 120. (You can also see my graph below)

Find angle x.

(A) 120°
(B) 70°
(C) 60°
(D) 50°
(E) 40°


The angles refer to the arc angles, the missing arc is 360 - 100 - 140 = 120 degrees. Using the inscribed theorem, angle x is half of 120. Therefore x is 60.
