How many integer values of y other than 4 and greater than -7 satisfy the inequality \(\frac{(Y+4)(Y+5)}{(Y-4)}\) \(\leq{0}\)

Three cases
1) when y-4<0, that is y<4, then (y+4)(y+5)>0, meaning y<-5 or y>-4
So the range becomes -4<y<4 and y can be -6......total 8 values as y has to be >-7.
2) when y-4>0, that is y>4, then (y+4)(y+5)<0, meaning -5<y<-4.
No values possible
3) the term will be 0, when x=-4 and -5. So 2 values.
Total- 8+2 = 10

When y<4, then WHY greater than sign(>) is being used here.....(y+4)(y+5)>0, and also, WHY y<-5, since, y+5>0 => y>-5
Similarly, why less than sign(<) is being used here....(y+4)(y+5)<0
