If the equation is \(ax^2+bx+c\)
Sum of the roots = - \(\frac{b}{a}\)..
Product of roots = \(\frac{c}{a}\)
Here equation is \(ax^2 + 6x + b = 0\), that is a=a, b=6, and c=b
Sum of the roots = (-4)+(-2)= - \(\frac{b}{a}=-\frac{6}{a}....a=1\)..
Product of roots = -4*-2=8=\(\frac{c}{a}=\frac{c}{1}....c=8\)
