Statement 1 insufficient
as it does not give any information about Line L

Statement 2 insufficient
as it does not give any information about the radius of the circle

combining the two
the line may be tangent also and in that case it will not intersect the circle :) :)

1. Not sufficient

as we dont know anything about L

2. Not sufficient

we can consider a line passing through 3,3 and 0,0 => line passes through origin

we can consider another line passing through 3,3 and not passing through 0,0 (lets say 5,0) => line does not pass
through origin

together ,
3,3 is not on the circle. we can still consider the same examples as in 2 . Hence not sufficient.

Answer is E.

does above Point (3,3) lies on circle as the radius of the circle is 3??

+1 for option E. Both statements together are not sufficient. The line passes through (3,3) and may or may not intersect the circle centered at origin and with a radius of 3.
