I answered it wrong
but suddenly realized my mistake.The number is {x,10,13,15,17} (not in an order), and we must answer what is X?
#Statement 1
- Median 15 makes the set become like this : {10,13,15,17,x} or {10,13,15,x,17}.
- INSUFFICIENT.
#Statement 2
- The range of them is 7 - clearly INSUFFICIENT.
#Statement 1 & 2
- We have 2 option : {10,13,15,17,x} or {10,13,15,x,17}.
- Combine with statement 2, X can be 17 (from the first set) or 15/16/17 (from the second set).
