Answer is Option E

Let height and radius of smaller cone: h and r
Let radius of bigger cone: R
1. H=20, no information about h. Insufficient
2. r^2h/R^2H= 1/64. Insufficient

Combining 1 and 2, we can't calculate h as relation between r & R is not given.

Thanks

Hi Swatee

Welcome to GMAT CLUB!!!

See teh figure looks like this

Now, you need to notice that Smaller cone and bogger cone are similar figures i.e. ratio of heights = ratio of radie

Now, think again. :)

Can you explain to me why r/R=h/H i can figure out that (r^2/R^2)(h/H) for the two-volume formula. ut why the h and r proportion are the same?
