This gives us s, however we do not know d.
INSUFF.
(2) If Ben’s average speed on his commute to work this Friday had been twice as fast, his trip would have been 1 hour shorter.
We already know \(\frac{d}{s}=t\)
Now, from this statement we are told:
\(\frac{d}{2s}=t-1\)
\(\frac{t}{2}=t-1\)... substituing the value of \(\frac{d}{s}\) from...(i)
\(t=2 \)
SUFF.

Question: Time of travel of Ben from home to office = ?
Statement 1: Average speed = 20 miles per hour
Distance between office and home is no given hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: For twice speed it takes 1 hour less
For twice speed teh time should be half
i.e. Half teh time of travel = 1 hour
i.e. Time of travel = 2 hours
SUFFICIENT
Answer: Option B
