TypeMarchApril
Classic (C)260232
Chocolate (H)180188
Berry (B)150161
Pistachio (P)210219
To compare revenues, rewrite the changes as transferred units:
TypeMarchApril
Classic28 (260−232)0
Chocolate08 (188−180)
Berry011 (161−150)
Pistachio09 (219−210)
Total28 (28C)28 (8H + 11B + 9P)

Statement (1):
P < C, H, B
case 1:
C = 10, H = 1, B = 1, P = 1
28C = 280
8H + 11B + 9P
= 8 + 11 + 9
= 28
April revenue decreased.
case 2:
C = 1, H = 100, B = 100, P = 1
28C = 28
8H + 11B + 9P
= 800 + 1100 + 9
= 1909
April revenue increased.

Statement (1) is not sufficient.

Statement (2):
C > H, B, P
Also, total units on both sides are equal (= 28).
Therefore:
28C > 8H + 11B + 9P
Hence, March revenue > April revenue
Statement (2) is sufficient.
