Hi,
Can you give me a comprehensive list of all the areas from where RC can come and the suggested reading sources for the same.
Also, specific details such as 'X' opinionator in 'Y' magazine etc.
I am currently reading economist and nyt opinion pages. Will start with fiction novels, Scientific american in some time.
What apart from these are recommended?

Sounds like you have a very good start! I don't know how many others you would really need to add to that list. With business, and scientific, you might want to add some philosophy in there. I also read a lot of articles before my GMAT and I believe it REALLY improved my verbal. While you're reading, you might want to also consider what types of questions you might be asked, and keep short notes on paragraphs so you can revisit the meaning. Also try to figure out the tone that the author has, and if they are taking any stance on the topic. I would also check out the following post: GMAT fiction if you are not a native english speaker.

Hi ladyliberty,
Economist and NYT opinion pages - those are good places for long term improvement. When you read them, pay attention to sentence structure, transition words, and purpose.
In the short run, you can reference these reading videos as a way to better understand how to efficiently read a passage: https://www.gmatpill.com/practice-questi ... -guide-rc/
Then you can reference back to NYT opinion pages and incorporate what you learned. Combining these resources would be a good short/long term strategy.
