Hi

Is there any plan which can be used to study when your exam is in a month and you shall only get an hour or two to study as one has to work as well. ??

Would appreciate the help in this.

hello,

a good study schedule always differs from student to student. you have to be aware of some factors like:

- your current level of knowledge
- your target score
- how many hours you CAN spend on studying (the more the better)
- HOW you want to study (alone or with a teacher)
- which sources (books, courses, apps,...) you want to use
- many more aspects

If you can let me know these things I can be of much more value for you and you schedule

Apologies i forgot to mention the few details in this .

i have a level of say a 650 scorer at present . I score around 35-40 in Verbal and around 40-45 in Quant on my Preps.
Target - 740+
Hours available- 2/3 a day hopefully.
HOW you want to study (alone or with a teacher)- Alone
- which sources (books, courses, apps,...) you want to use - OG and the rest of the usual generic material available.

It will be hard to score 740+ with only one month of prep without expert help. it is doable but you need to understand that you want to belong to the best 1% of test takers worldwide with rel. small effort.

do you wan to take an online course (optimus prep, magoosh, e-gmat,...)?

actually yes . i am still searching for the correct options which would be max a day . But wouldnt it be amazing if getting 740 is doable . there has to be a legitimate way to score in quality time frame. Difficult yes.. which is why a timeschedule would help. If only i had the time.. :)

Hi shanks1,

I am assuming that you are thorough with your basics.Here's something that you can try from hereon to improve your scores and make them reach towards where you want.

Give as many mock tests as possible in the next few weeks. However, more than giving the mock test, it is critical that you spend enough time in analyzing your performance in the mock tests. Typically if you spend 2 hours on mock test, spend 5-6 hours in analyzing your performance in the same. Go through each and every question and look at them for as long as you want. You need to figure out a better, smarter and a faster way of doing the same question.

Take a note of all the points and then make sure you apply them in the next test. Keep doing this consistently and you will see your score going up.Let us know if you need any further guidance.
