Hello,

I have going to give my GMAT in 2 months time and my Quant score is currently stuck at Q47 - Q48. I have identified my weak areas in Quant which I make the most mistakes in. They are:

- Inequalities and Absolute Value (30-40% of my wrong answers are from this topic)
- Coordinate Geometry
- Probability
- Permutations & Combinations

I am looking to nail these topics cold as I strongly believe that can boost my Quant score.

Looking for recommendations on the material which will help me fully understand these topics and practice questions.

Appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hi chinmoi,

If you are particularly looking to discover and improve on your weak areas in Quant; a subscription to GMATCLUB tests is the best way to do that. They are indeed phenomenal and will not only pinpoint your weak areas but also help you improve on them. They have enough questions that will solidify your concepts in all the above mentioned topics.

Further taking multiple mocks might help. Apart from the GMATPREP, Manhattan GMAT tests and Veritas Prep Tests in my experience have a good verbal and Quant section and will certainly help you point out and improve your weak areas.

Further another advantage of taking many mocks is to build up your stamina and help you with your anxiety issues. Apart from the GMATPREP tests, taking practise tests of any major GMATPREP company ought to do that.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Try to revise the concepts from any Standard GMAT materials and thereafter try to solve these question religiously and very very honestly (Without looking at the solutions
unless you solve the question), within a few days you will be a mater in the trade...

Inequalities : https://gmatclub.com/forum/search.php?s ... tag_id=189
Coordinate Geometry : https://gmatclub.com/forum/search.php?s ... &tag_id=62
Probability : https://gmatclub.com/forum/search.php?s ... &tag_id=54
Permutation and Combination : https://gmatclub.com/forum/search.php?s ... &tag_id=52

Here is our in house materials for clearing the concepts

https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-math-book-87417.html

All the best happy preparations..

Thank you for your advice! When you say Standard GMAT material, do you mean Manhattan?
Also, how good is the GMAT club Math Workbook?

Hi Rohan!

This definitely helps. Thanks for the reply.
You have mentioned GMAT Club Tests but they are slightly pricey. I heard that you can get the subscription free if you get 25 kudos on your posts. Do you know how true this is?

Also, any recommended material for theory on these topics?

Hi chinmoi!

Just want to add that the Magoosh GMAT blog has tons of free resources (practice questions and strategies) for specific quant question types. These might be helpful! :-)

Hope that's helpful! :-)
