Here's my profile :
Indian,male,26yrs old working with one of the top mncs as a Team lead. Leading a team of 6. No international experience
Acads - Btech from COEP(ranked 25th best engg college in india), also the second oldest engg college in india!! CGPA- 6.2/10
x-85%(math-92,science-96),xii-85% (CBSE)
Extra curricular - 2nd prize at national level science seminar, had represented my state at the event, associated with a NGO since college which he lps poor people.
GMAT-- taking on 14th sep 2013. Could get 650-680, but trying hard to hit 700
Below are some of the schools that i am aiming for in R2(jan deadline). I have picked these schools based on FT ranking.
University of Virginia: Darden
Rice University: Jones
Georgetown University: McDonough
Carnegie Mellon: Tepper
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
University of North Carolina: Kenan-Flagler
University of Texas at Austin: McCombs
Emory University: Goizueta
University of Maryland: Smith
Vanderbilt University: Owen
Washington University: Olin
looking at my profile, guys do you think these schools are within my reach? Should I lower or raise my expectations? Can I go for schools such as Ross,Haas,Duke ?
I know I have started a bit late.... as its already may end.... but i am determined to apply this year!!

Hi,
If you are able to skillfully write application essays and demonstrate headship qualities, maturity, achievements in or outside workplace and professionalism during the final interviews, then the list of b-schools should be within your reach. You must target 690+ GMAT score to apply in these b-schools. Also, prepare yourself to answer the Adcoms on how an MBA from … b-school would help you to achieve long term goals, what will you bring in the classroom and how would you contribute to the b-school society. These are few pointers on which the b-school adcoms judge the candidates.
