Hi all,
After a long admission season, I am happy to report that I have received admits from both the Kelley and Goizueta full time MBA programs. From the beginning I always thought that Kelley was my top school, I think in part because I didn’t think I could get into Emory. I am a career switcher attempting to break into brand or product management, and both schools have the ability to place me in great companies. I know that both schools are ranked almost dead even and are fairly regional, but location is not much of a factor for me. I have visited both schools and could see myself attending either one for the next two years of my life. At the moment I am leaning ever so slightly towards Kelley, because when I attended the preview day I was captivated by the confidence, collaborative nature, and overall friendliness of all of the students and faculty I met at the mixer. Emory University appears to have a marginally stronger prestige over Indiana University when mentioning their names to non-business people. Money is not a factor in my decision.
I would appreciate any and all input because I am at a stalemate right now.

Both are good schools! Congrats on the admits. Both place pretty well in the respective career field too. When I visited Emory, the tour guide mentioned that most people stay in Atlanta afterwards. There are a lot of companies here in the city as well. I love living here it's awesome. So many things to do and cool people to meet. On the other hand, I'm strongly considering applying to Kelley next year because I have been in an urban environment for almost a decade now and I could do away with the distractions. I do like the fact that there's Division I sports at Indiana(love college bball and football). Kelley seems to place well in the Midwest. However, I may want to come back to the east coast. Emory seems like a stronger brand in that case. Do you have any idea of what companies that you want to work for? That may help you narrow down your list. Also any clubs that may be present on one campus, but not the other

I agree with the poster above. How much do you love your classmates? Because I imagine in Bloomington you will be socializing and hanging with them the vast majority of the time. Atlanta could be more wide open. There are pros and cons to both so it depends on whether you want that tighter group or more options.
Where you want to be after graduation is a big concern. Despite what some outlets would have you believe I do believe that you can go mostly anywhere from either college but it could be more work depending on where you wish to end up.
