I looked into Kelley, and heard good placement stories for their graduates at companies like Procter & Gamble, Frito Lay, and General Mills. There are a number of CPG companies in the Midwest that recruit at Indiana. Without thinking geography, Indiana is the smarter choice for marketing. The scholarship is a nice plus too.

First of all, congratulations on getting admitted to both schools! It's a 'good problem to have.'

I don't want to hide my bias, which is for Kenan-Flagler. That's because I'm the outgoing president for the Marketing Club there. That said, Kelley is a great school too. I interned with Kelley students last summer and they were great people to work with. If you want to ping me and chat about the Marketing program I'm happy to speak over the phone. I don't want to post my email, but you can find it on this page -

https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/en/stu ... -club.aspx

Just a couple of things about the school. In the class of 2014, About 26% of the class went into marketing, which was actually the highest number of graduates, juuust beating out Consulting. 10% of the class went into the Consumer Products industry.

Some of the school's regular CPG recruiters include -

P&G, Coca-Cola, Clorox, Johnson & Johnson, Hershey's, Kraft, Campbell's/Pepperidge Farms, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Bayer, Hanesbrands, Georgia-Pacific and others. They also regularly hire people in Marketing Analyst roles at UPS, Delta, Clorox, and.... there's a lot of opportunities.

I'd also be happy to talk about significant other issues, as well as moving from NYC (that's where I'm from).
