Here's something about myself: 36 years old with 16 years of professional experience. And that is the reason I applied to EMBA programs for a better fit.

Here, I need to decide between a cost effective quality program and a better brand value. What do I do?

Do you have a preference on what region of country you would want to work?

I have been offered admissions to both KF OneMBA and Ross EMBA programs and it is getting hard to decide on one over the other.

Advantages of KF - Great friendly environment, Global program, Scholarship offered, Low cost (when compared to other top EMBAs), Average brand value.
Advantages of Ross - Professional environment, ExecMAP, Focus on strategy/consulting, Better brand value.

Please help me decide between the two. What am looking for from an EMBA: Boost in my career and a switch to business strategy, preferably with a global angle.

I'd probably still pick UNC since I feel there will probably be more recruitment options - but you might have to grind a bit harder due to your age and you'd have to overcome any awkwardness with classmates being on the older side

EMBA programs in general have an average age of 35-38 and this is a program that caters to that age group. So I will not have to feel awkward at all. What is the reason you say UNC will have more recruitment options? I believe both schools are equally successful in placing MBAs, no?

Thanks alphabeta. My gut tells me to do that too.

To be more clear, the Ross emba is $40k costlier than KF OneMBA after the scholarship from KF. Now, is it worth that cost to go to Ross because it is up in the rankings and has a slight advantage in brand value?
