Hi

I have got an admit to IMD MBA 1 year program . I also want to apply for Kellog 1 year program .

My post MBA goals are :

General management or short stint in MBB and then shift back to industry

My long term career aims are to rise in industry and take a global leadership role (CEO if I have to define it ). Also my aim to do MBA is more long term and the only short term goals ,I am really interested is global mobility ,leadership training and a possible career fast tracking

Current Profile
General Management

Also I am already 33 and a bit old for most traditional programs and hence felt IMD /INSEAD /Kellogs 1 year are the only good fit . My USD equivalent salary is already close to USD 150 k ++ and thus I may not get fantastic financial returns in short term

Hi,

congrats.

If you are interested, I can put you in contact with 1 year Kellogg alumni who just graduated last week.

Just PM me

Thanks for reply. However I have almost removed INSEAD from my target schools . INSEAD is a great school and a feeder for MBB's .However my age is on the wrong side of INSEAD ,plus I have significant $$ with IMD and between INSEAD and IMD , the opportunity gap doesnt seem wide. I want to target Kellogs majorly because EU work visa situation is extremely bad for non EU students. Also the Kellogs brand name is much more stronger globally. So essentially it boils down to $$ with IMD vs Kellog 1 year ,specially riding on US work visa situation vis a vis EU and Kellogs brand name

General management

Hi 1Maverick1234!

According to my knowledge, Stanford and IMD have the best leadership streams for MBAs ever. In case of IMD, this is thanks to a small class, for which you can mobilize a proper number of coaches and supporting personnel to conduct an unbelievable leadership labs (lots of them!). In addition, you would have a deep-dive with the psychoanalysts during the year to help you learn about yourself and others - and that is the addition that proved to be extremely useful over the years.

On another note, if your target is a career in US - Kellog is a better brand for that job market.

It's not an easy choice for sure :)
