While I was checking the GMAT Club Grammar Book, I've encountered the Standard Deviation and 3-D Geometries topics. Are questions about these still being asked in GMAT?
Thanks in advance.

Yes they are. For standard deviation it's enough to know that it's a measurement of the internal spacing of a data set, i.e. how spread out the data points are on a number line.
Yes these questions are still asked. I found a good number of questions on standard deviation in the GMAT prep exams from mba.com. But those questions have more to do with the reasoning than to do the actual calculations
Both Standard Deviation and 3-D Geometries are tested topics, the former much more commonly tested.
The GMAT will test your conceptual understanding of standard deviation (SD). You should be aware of the formula to calculate SD but you will not be tested in terms of having you do involved calculations. Once you understand the concepts, you should be able to answer the question.
3-D Geometry problems may involve having to visualize inscribed objects. An example of this would be a sphere inscribed in a cube and vice versa. The ability to visualize problems and applying simple formulas will allow you to answer correctly.
