I am damn sure that I am missing something here .....still , here is my answer:

either (x^2-49)=0 OR (x^2+49)=0 OR x=0
for (x^2-49)
x= 7 OR x= -7

For (x^2+49)
x= 7i OR x= -7i

x=0

Please check.

There is a mistake:
\(x^2+49=0\)
Hence \(x^2=-49\)
This is impossible. This part has no solutions.
