The subject of the sentence is the slew, which is singular. Hence, we need a singular verb has as in options A, C, and E. but the verb in options B and D is have, which is plural. There is, therefore, subject-verb agreement error in options B and D. We can, therefore, eliminate B and D.

Option A is correct. It states that the slew of US governments has not succeeded in   engendering healthy intra-bank credit flows /i] and   reviving depressed equity prices  .
 engendering healthy intra-bank credit flows  and  reviving depressed equity prices  are parallel.

Option C is wordy and not as concise as option A. We can, therefore, eliminate option C.

Option E is incorrect because the two things that the slew of the US government has not succeeded in doing are not expressed in a logically parallel manner. Hence we can eliminate option E.
