Hey guys,

I took the iegat just few days ago. I didn't find much information before so let me make this post. Here how it is now:

- numerical reasoning: they show to you different graphs and tables and you have to answer to some questions (true, false, cannot say).
- verbal reasoning: they show to you some text and you have to answer to some questions (true, false, cannot say).
- deductive logic: other guys (for MIM) had something like a sudoku made of shapes whilst (for mba) instead I had those shapes going into a funnel and changing order, you had to choose the new numerical sequence (e.g. a triangle was in first position and then in 3rd, etc.). This was super hard for me.
- Inductive logic: there were sequences of shapes interrupted by a shape that was not following the right order, you had to identify that shape (really simple for me).
- Email: you have an email inbox and you have to categorize and prioritize some emails based on dates and some rules (easy).
- digitchallenge: you have a calculator and have to do some simple math (e.g. find 3 numbers that multiplied or substracted/summed give a certain result or find 3 numbers that multiplying give out 252, etc.).

They give you many more questions than you can do. There are examples before you make the actual test so that you can feel comfortable while doing it.
In general you don't need prior practice for this exam.

I studied for a couple of days before by buying the online material here: www [dot] iegat [dot] com. It helped a bit I have to say, even if the deductive/inductive logic were different
it helped me a bit to feel more comfortable during the exam.

Hi all,

I am an IE MBA applicant for Sept 2020 intake. Although I have a solid GPA, my GRE score was low. When I submitted my application on Jan 31st and was told I needed to retake the GRE or take the IEgat or GMAT. I just took the IEgat this Friday (Feb 14th). Does anyone know how long it usually take for them to get back to you letting you know how you did? I am asking because I would like to know if my score was sufficient to move on to the next round before deciding to retake the GRE or GMAT.
