Kelley MBA Program Ranking

Question

Hey people! i just was wondering, about Kelley mba program ranking, it has really bounced around over the years first being a top 10 school, then top 20, then all the way down into the 30s now its more of a top 20 to 25, any ideas on why its been all over the map? im referring to the past years like say 10 or 20 years, one guy i know who went to school there said it used to be ranked a lot higher! any ideas on why all the bouncing around?

I am not an expert in US B-schools but would definitely want to see what other users and experts have to say about it. For the rankings - you can check the methodology of various rankings. Are you following one specific ranking list or combining the results from various lists?

Hey yes it was top 10, the person i know who went to school there is quite old, think, 40s or 50s so hes been out of the market a long time, but i asked him why he went there, he said it was a top 10 school with low tuition, of course now its a top 30 or so.

Hey  MBAinspecter  - the students aren't involved in the ranking process, and we do not know why the rankings bounce around from year to year. I would look at trends over the past 5-10 years to get an accurate view of where Kelley sits in the rankings, versus looking at one or two outlier years.
