PAULANKA
Hi everybody:

I have a couple of friends that are LBS alumni or current students and I wanted them to send an informal letter of recommendation (they aren't my two formal recommenders). Does anybody know how they can do this?

Additionally, does anybody know the process to send LBS my official IELTS results?

Thanks in advance!

Hi PAULANKA,

You can contact the admissions team requesting them to send an endorsement form to the alumni/current students along with their email addresses. LBS will send them a link to their endorsement form that the alumni/current student can then fill and submit. The form generally consists of 5-6 questions mainly revolving around how the candidate can contribute to the classroom and the alumni community. I recommend that you ask someone that knows you well as they will be required to provide a few examples of how you will be a good addition to the community.

Further, for IELTS, there is a section in the application where you can mention your score. If you have already applied, you can email the admissions committee updating them with your score.

Please let me know if you have any further questions on this or anything else.

Hope this helps. All the best.
