Hello all,
Just wondering if Round-3 has equal probability as other 2 rounds considering an applicant has on an average same profile as R1 and R2.
Any special mentions? Are they looking for any specific profiles in R-3?
Hello
basecamper09 hope you are doing well
In my experience you would have to be very strategic about how you portray your candidacy to the college in R3. Well of course if you hardly have any differentiating factors in your profile, then it does not make sense to apply so late in the application cycle when most of the quota for your profile type would have already been taken. But if there's a chance you could smartly debate your candidacy basis your unusual career trajectory or differentiated goals, you may still become successful.
I am attaching a link to my write-up about a recent HEC Paris R3 admit I worked with (with a mediocre profile, employment gap, multiple test attempts and very brief international experience), who got into HEC Paris in R3. This writeup might give you an idea on how to make your narrative stronger for late rounds.
