IMO it is B.
as per initial q, we can 2^1*100^1,2^3*5^2 or 50^1*2^2 and so on...
(1) x>y
2^3*5^2 [3+2] or 50^1*2^2 [1+2]
(2) xy=6
only one 2^3*5^2 [3+2]
Hence B

I have a doubt.
Do we even need statement I and/or II ?
\(a^x*b^y = 200 = 2^3*5^2\) , as a, b, x, y are positive integers
clearly x=3 and y=2, x+y = 5
