Question: Is a > b?
a and b are non-negative integers. i.e. a and b can only be {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...}
Statement 1: a + 50 = 51
i.e. a =1, b could be 0 ie. a > b and b could be 3 i.e. b > a hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: b > 0
a is unknown hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
COmbining the staements
a = 1 and b > 0
Case 1: a = 1 and b = 1 a is NOT greater than b
Case 2: a = 1 and b = 2 a is NOT greater than b
ie.. answer is consistently NO because a is never greater than b, hence
SUFFICIENT
Answer: Option C

IMO: C
St 1: No info on b . So not sufficient
St 2: No info on A . Not sufficient.
Combined : a= 1 and b >0
In all cases a cannot be greater than b. So sufficient.
Here the trap is that we tend to conclude statement 2 is a repeat of what the question stem said (a,b >=0) and forgets to check what is actually asked.
