Is the positive integer n divisible by 108?
1. n is divisible by 12.
2. n is multiple of 9.
108 = (3^2)*(2^3)
For n to be divisible by 108, n must have atleast two 3's and three 2's in its prime factorization.
n is divisible by 12 - one 3 and two 2's at min
n is multiple of 9 - n has two 3's at min
Combining i) and ii)
we get min two 3's and two 2's which is not sufficient on its own.
Answer - E
1. n is divisible by 12.
2. n is multiple of 9.
