Hi, In my first attempt I scored 730 (Q49, V40). However, my score in IR was very low (2/8) so I re-took the test. However, in my second attempt I could not finish my verbal section (randomly marked the last 4 questions and left 1 question completely unmarked). So as a result, my score dropped to 700 (Q49, V36). But now my IR score is 7/8.
Can someone please tell me how this is viewed by B-schools and what can be done?
when you submit your score the b schools will get both your scores and they will consider your highest score that is 730. Also i guess when they see your latest attempt they will see a 7 and know you can definitely do well in ir. I am not sure about this though. i personally had a q49v40 720 with a 5 in ir

The unanswered questions have a heavy penalty. I guess you must have at least 3 wrong including the unanswered one. When you report your score, I hope it shouldn't be a problem since you improved your IR.
You can also use your optional essay to address this. Or show you are strong in verbal in by scoring above 110 TOEFL or 8 in IELTS respectively.
