Hi Rich,

Actually, thanks to you I scored well in my GMAT.
You motivated me a lot helping me to evaluate precisely my weaknesses.

I am planning for UC Berkeley Haas, MIT Sloan and ISB.
I am planning to apply for them in 6 months after I complete 2 years of work experience
All the above have a median scores of more than 710. So I am planning to retake the exam.

Your suggestions will be valuable. :)

Retaking is an option, but consider it only if you are confident that you can improve it by a minimum of 20 points I'd say. :)

Hi Karthik.,

Since you've named some really competitive Schools, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:

ask-admission-consultants-124/

If you're certain that you want to retest, then we need to get a better sense of how you performed on the Verbal section on the Official GMAT. With a V34, you don't have a major 'weak spot', but you probably have one category (among SC, RC and CR) that's a little weaker than the other two.

Have you considered paying for the Enhanced Score Report? While that report won't provide that much information, there might be something in it that we can use to help you create a specific study plan before your next attempt.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
