I appeared for GMAT online last Friday i.e. 17th September 2021. The secure browser was already installed and tested to be running fine. The verbal section went well but the real horror started in quant.
Clicking next on every question took 1 min for the system to respond with timer running.
Restarted my laptop 6 times within quant but nothing improved
Internet speed was fine as I was able to smoothly communicate with the proctor during the entire duration
IR section dropdowns were taking 30-40 seconds, sorting of tables wasn't working at all
AWA words were coming up on screen after 20-30 seconds
All this led to a disastrous score for me and no reply from GMAC after more than 48 hours. What are they charging more than $200 for? They can't afford stable technology after charging that much? Has anyone else also experienced this, was there any help from their side?
FYI: I have used the same laptop and broadband connection to appear for multiple online tests including 4 hour long PMP.

I faced delay of 5-10 secs while going to the next questions but this is just something extra ordinary. GMAC will help you because 1 min delays are not manageable in a exam like GMAT. I think instead of restarting laptop for 6 times you should have asked the proctor for a re schedule because if the exam gets completed than GMAC stops listening. They just see it as an opportunity to earn more 250 USD.

Sorry to hear that you have faced this problem but you are not alone. This problem occurred to many test takers. Since the inception of "Online Enhanced" exam, A good number of people posted this same issue in the forum. What irritates me more is GMAC is knowingly letting this happen. At least, GMAC should respond quickly for the issues reportedly "not a fault of test takers". They take weeks to resolve these issues which waste a lot of valuable time that many of the test takers don't have. Not to mention the headache.
