Probably fair to say the Quant needs to be looked at from the fundamentals up. For Verbal, the same can probably be said as well, including some time management "I even finished with 5 minutes to spare"

Hi sbolipombo,

There are a variety of factors that can impact your performance on a CAT/mock (and on the Official GMAT), including the type of Exam that you're using, the time of day that you start the Exam, the testing conditions, how well-rested you are, etc. - meaning that we should take a closer look at all of the aspects of this Exam (in addition to how you handled the Quant and Verbal sections as a whole). I've sent you a PM with some additional questions.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Sorry for your Experience .
It seems like you need a solid action/study plan .Remember GMAT is tricky .It tests you on the time scale. Start from making a study plan on your own or you can get a subscription course provided by many there you can find one too.490 suggests that you still need to work on your basics . Start with the section (Q/V) which interests you more to get the rhythm and then move forward. for quant i would suggest you TTP (you can check their 5 days trial ) . Even a break of 15 days can decrease your past score thats why its very important to have a plan with targeted timeline (3-4 months , mostly depends how much time you get for study on daily basics ) .
You already know what you what . You have just to figure out "how" !
Cheers !

Hi sbolipombo,

Although I do not have too much information regarding how you studied for your GMAT, from the looks of things I think you would benefit from a structured and organized study plan. With that in mind, I have a great article that I want you to check out:
