If you are falling short by 50-100 points, I recommend retaking the GMAT.

Hey, thanks for the reply, I checked its off by 50-100 points is it too much? I don't want them to reject just by looking at the score. Will the added work experience and overall profile compensate for the scores?
Hi kush4,

I agree. If you're currently off by 50-100 points, you should consider giving it another shot.

All the best.

Hi kush4,

As has been said, considering you are about 50 to 100 points off the average GMAT score, I think a retake is a very good idea. Is this something you'd consider?

Hey Scott,
Thanks for the reply, actually no I'm not planning to consider retaking the GMAT, i have 3 years of work experience as an engineer dealing people from international background , a good GPA and I believe I can provide a solid LOR, essay and Interviews. I also got a GMAT waiver for McMaster.
I just want to know if this score can compensate with the overall profile.
For example if I can successfully get into to a university recommending for 550 GMAT score.

Have you tried reaching out to any admissions consultants here on GMAT Club to review your profile?

I'd like to share that I got admitted to Degroote school of business- McMaster University, they provided GMAT waiver because of my work experience.
